I will host a creative workshop at the Telšiai Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
If you wonder what awaits in the capital of Samogitia, on the shore of lake Mastis, here is a little bit of context :
The topic : Tableware and utensils
The theme : “Table Rituals”
The date : 15-19 of September 2025
The materials : wood, metal and 200KG marble, onyx, travertine and other various stones courtesy of Akmenstata
The people: 14 young, sharp and motivated students, faculty wood masters, stone masters and blacksmith masters, a senior designer/AD/lecturer (Audronė Drungilaitė-Čepienė) and a French senior industrial and product designer.

I will be one of the jurors for the Young Designer Prize 2024 and will be leading the design research category. The event will take place on the 3rd-5th of September at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Vilnius, Lithuania.

Young Designer Prize is an annual competition organized since 2011 with young designers competing for the awards every year. The main aim is to encourage the professional development of design students, providing them with an opportunity to present their ideas outside the Academy.

At the award ceremony the best young designers are announced and presented with diplomas and sponsor prizes. After the ceremony, the doors to the exhibition with all the finalists are open. During the exhibition the visitors can participate in educational workshops, guided tours and learn more about design.
