Designer Pierre Foulonneau will be a juror at the Young Designer Prize 2024

// JUROR – YOUNG DESIGNER PRIZE 2024 //

I will be one of the jurors for the Young Designer Prize 2024 and will be leading the design research category. The event will take place on the 3rd-5th of September at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Vilnius, Lithuania.

Young Designer Prize is an annual competition organized since 2011 with young designers competing for the awards every year. The main aim is to encourage the professional development of design students, providing them with an opportunity to present their ideas outside the Academy.

At the award ceremony the best young designers are announced and presented with diplomas and sponsor prizes. After the ceremony, the doors to the exhibition with all the finalists are open. During the exhibition the visitors can participate in educational workshops, guided tours and learn more about design.

TRENDS 22+ selection

I am proud to announce that the LOTUS collection features in the Ambiente TRENDS 22+ selection, a forward-looking forecasts by Stilbüro bora.herke.palmisano.

This new collection of objects designed for Riva Brazilian Luxury appears on page five of the digital brochure as part of the “remedy : solving + clearing” trend.

remedy solving + clearing opens up fresh, new perspectives.
Now that restrictions have started to ease, we are ready for a new start. However, our homes still remain the most important haven of retreat, lighting up our lives and giving us a new vitality . remedy solving + clearing responds precisely to these needs. It’s an airy and light interior theme that spreads a sense of well-being and stimulation. At times pointing clear-sightedly into the future, at times deliberately playing with illusions. With innovative materials that are making sustainability the ’new normal‘. And with transparent fabrics, shimmering looks and excitingly futuristic colour gradients.
Creating a home from which we can set out full of energy on new pathways.

The LOTUS collection is composed of a centerpiece, a centerpiece high, a fruit basket and a round tray.
